  • 99 cent only store

I went to the 99 cent only store today. It's always interesting to see the stuff they sell for a dollar.

2009 calendars. Since it's almost summer, essentially half the calendar is useless. Usually the ones they sell for cheap at this time of year are the ones no one would buy during the holiday season 'cause they're so crappy. The fattest stack: My Chemical Romance calendars, right next to the ferret calendars, country churches calendars, and white-tailed deer calendars. That's your cue to laugh.

Hannah Montana, Pirates, and plenty of other Disney merchandise. DVDs: The Drew Carey Show. Friends. Howdy Doody. Essentially, crap.

Of course there was plenty of "useful" stuff too - like dish detergent, fruits and vegetables. I pity the people that choose to buy the crap instead though.

  • oxygen bars

Because my grass allergy sometimes causes breathing problems when I run in the grass field, I cherish every breath that I take. Imagine paying for oxygen. Scented oxygen, to be exact. It's supposedly cleaner oxygen, but who knows. What a scam.

This machine kind of looks like a kids' experiment.

Basically, at your run-of-the-mill oxygen bar, you see several different tubes of brightly colored liquids and gases which are (I guess) oxygen gas and scents but look like diluted Kool-Aid (okay, this is far from ordinary). You pay for a certain amount of oxygen and then stick a tube against your nose (or up your nose? I don't want to know). Then, you breathe.

These machines have been bothering me ever since I visited Vegas a couple of years back and saw these things everywhere. I guess some people dig this stuff, but I don't really see the point. Health benefits? I doubt it. Look at that stuff!

  • Money and Music

Currently listening to: Tiffany Blews by Fall Out Boy! Good song, but it makes no sense.

I was going to do a really serious post, but I sort ran out of time. Look at the clock!

The first period AP Economics class went on a field trip today to the Federal Reserve District Bank branch in San Francisco. Seeing a complete collection of old bills and big piles of money was very interesting. The security was tight. Vickie, Yan, and I ate at Fuzio afterwards. We had to go back to school early. I, being the only person in my Biology class to go on the field trip, hung out in the art room instead of the biology room for the rest of sixth period because no one in my Biology class needed to know or would even know that I was already back. Haha.

I'm going to be singing for both high school and middle school chapels tomorrow. The song will be "Grace" which is sort of like an Amazing Grace remix. Also, I'm going to be heading to Sacramento tomorrow night. I'm going to take my laptop with me and not much else except for the necessities. I'll be back on Saturday. The only thing that I am worried about right now is the Calculus test tomorrow. I forgot to study!

Maybe, just maybe, I'll try doing a V-log from the hotel room for the laughs. If I end up really liking it, I might just start doing those instead of giving myself carpal tunnel syndrome like what I'm doing right now. Typing on my laptop really sucks, and I don't really have a choice right now because my mom is sleeping and my desktop keyboard is as noisy as my mom, but it can actually wake her up, unlike her snoring.

  • Chorale

Being part of the school's Chorale class, I have to memorize a good number of songs for the ASCI Musicale, which is only a couple of weeks today. :P Six songs. One of them, the Latin song Laetatus Sum is SUPER long. Over three minutes! I have about two minutes of it down good but the last minute of the song is killing me. Instead of listening to my favorite songs, I might actually have to spend more time listening to the songs I'm gonna have to sing. I'm also having trouble remember the lyrics for Battle Hymn. That one is seriously too confusing due to how slow it is.

Just today, the class visited Redwood Christian and practiced with their group. Their group sounded more experienced and the members had nice, loud voices. Having another group to compare to is beneficial in helping our group get better because sometimes we don't notice how good or bad we are at something unless we notice how someone else does it. A great way to spend half the school day. I never realized how close Redwood Christian is to CCS.

  • ECW thoughts

I just finished watching ECW and I didn't like how Hornswoggle was being used. Is he a big help or a burden? I'm not sure. Is there tension between Finlay and Christian or not? I'm not sure. Should Christian be on Smackdown instead? Hell yes!

As always, John Morrison and Miz were hot. I don't really feel bad for Tommy Dreamer. He should just retire.

And everything else was boring. End of story.

I do not seem to notice that many clips airing during commercial breaks when I watch Smackdown. Maybe that is because Wrestlemania is coming up.

For your information, I watch a UK channel for Raw and east coast SciFi for ECW. And Smackdown in the comfort of the living room. Hehe.

I'm almost done adding titles to every post. I'm mostly deleting short posts now. My writing skills back then were super bad. I felt embarrassed just reading through my old stuff.
