It's always interesting to see the stuff they sell for a dollar.

2009 calendars. Since it's almost summer, essentially half the calendar is useless. Usually the ones they sell for cheap at this time of year are the ones no one would buy during the holiday season 'cause they're so crappy. The fattest stack: My Chemical Romance calendars, right next to the ferret calendars, country churches calendars, and white-tailed deer calendars. That's your cue to laugh.

Hannah Montana, Pirates, and plenty of other Disney merchandise. DVDs: The Drew Carey Show. Friends. Howdy Doody. Essentially, crap.

Of course there was plenty of "useful" stuff too - like dish detergent, fruits and vegetables. I pity the people that choose to buy the crap instead though.

oxygen bars

Because my grass allergy sometimes causes breathing problems when I run in the grass field, I cherish every breath that I take. Imagine paying for oxygen. Scented oxygen, to be exact. It's supposedly cleaner oxygen, but who knows. What a scam.

This machine kind of looks like a kids' experiment.

Basically, at your run-of-the-mill oxygen bar, you see several different tubes of brightly colored liquids and gases which are (I guess) oxygen gas and scents but look like diluted Kool-Aid (okay, this is far from ordinary). You pay for a certain amount of oxygen and then stick a tube against your nose (or up your nose? I don't want to know). Then, you breathe.

These machines have been bothering me ever since I visited Vegas a couple of years back and saw these things everywhere. I guess some people dig this stuff, but I don't really see the point. Health benefits? I doubt it. Look at that stuff!

Money and Music

Currently listening to: Tiffany Blews by Fall Out Boy! Good song, but it makes no sense.

I was going to do a really serious post, but I sort ran out of time. Look at the clock!

The first period AP Economics class went on a field trip today to the Federal Reserve District Bank branch in San Francisco. Seeing a complete collection of old bills and big piles of money was very interesting. The security was tight. Vickie, Yan, and I ate at Fuzio afterwards. We had to go back to school early. I, being the only person in my Biology class to go on the field trip, hung out in the art room instead of the biology room for the rest of sixth period because no one in my Biology class needed to know or would even know that I was already back. Haha.

I'm going to be singing for both high school and middle school chapels tomorrow. The song will be "Grace" which is sort of like an Amazing Grace remix. Also, I'm going to be heading to Sacramento tomorrow night. I'm going to take my laptop with me and not much else except for the necessities. I'll be back on Saturday. The only thing that I am worried about right now is the Calculus test tomorrow. I forgot to study!

Maybe, just maybe, I'll try doing a V-log from the hotel room for the laughs. If I end up really liking it, I might just start doing those instead of giving myself carpal tunnel syndrome like what I'm doing right now. Typing on my laptop really sucks, and I don't really have a choice right now because my mom is sleeping and my desktop keyboard is as noisy as my mom, but it can actually wake her up, unlike her snoring.

One of them, the Latin song Laetatus Sum is SUPER long. Over three minutes! I have about two minutes of it down good but the last minute of the song is killing me. Instead of listening to my favorite songs, I might actually have to spend more time listening to the songs I'm gonna have to sing. I'm also having trouble remember the lyrics for Battle Hymn. That one is seriously too confusing due to how slow it is.

Just today, the class visited Redwood Christian and practiced with their group. Their group sounded more experienced and the members had nice, loud voices. Having another group to compare to is beneficial in helping our group get better because sometimes we don't notice how good or bad we are at something unless we notice how someone else does it. A great way to spend half the school day. I never realized how close Redwood Christian is to CCS.

ECW thoughts

I just finished watching ECW and I didn't like how Hornswoggle was being used. Is he a big help or a burden? I'm not sure. Is there tension between Finlay and Christian or not? I'm not sure. Should Christian be on Smackdown instead? Hell yes!

As always, John Morrison and Miz were hot. I don't really feel bad for Tommy Dreamer. He should just retire.

And everything else was boring. End of story.

I do not seem to notice that many clips airing during commercial breaks when I watch Smackdown. Maybe that is because Wrestlemania is coming up.

For your information, I watch a UK channel for Raw and east coast SciFi for ECW. And Smackdown in the comfort of the living room. Hehe.

I'm almost done adding titles to every post. I'm mostly deleting short posts now. My writing skills back then were super bad. I felt embarrassed just reading through my old stuff.

From Now On ..

I spent about an hour adding titles to most of my posts. It's not that hard. I'm at October 2006 now, working backwards to the beginning.

I even took the time to delete really short posts about the lamest, most random things, which includes complaints about my cold nose or fingers or a two sentence report about a car that just crashed into a tree. I'd usually say "more details soon" but I never remember to give "more details" .. so there you go.

From now on there are going to be changes about the things I talk about. I'm going to have less to say about the things I did (because I read back and those are the most boring things I've said) and more about my thoughts. I hope it doesn't come down to me just giving comments about every wrestler on the WWE roster (which will suck too), but we'll see. I don't talk ONLY about WWE now. I sure hope not.

Raw & No Way Out :D

I just finished watching Raw about an hour ago. I do not like it when there seem to be more promos than matches. The last couple minutes of the show were powerful, though. Triple H staring at Orton after Stephanie was RKO'ed. Not bad.

********************

My earlier post:

I am actually typing this up on my net-book. I don't know why people call it that. I am trying to get used to typing quickly on my laptop because it is not very comfortable doing so. Also, when I use my laptop no one really tells me to take a break. Ehehe.

The only thing I can comment on is No Way Out from last night. I bet most other people are saying the same things so you're probably not hearing anything new.

Well, first of all, the only good matches were the Elimination Chambers. I loved the expressions on Edge's face. Hilarious. The chemistry amongst Mysterio, Jericho, and Edge was really good. The crowd was crazy last night.

I really hope that christian gets put into the picture soon. Hopefully WWE didn't sign him just to taunt at TNA.

To date I still cannot take Vladmir Kozlov seriously. I hate him. When he does his bland entrance, the backdrop looks very Christmas-y. Every time he wrestles it doesn't look very realistic. Just because he is big and strong doesn't mean he's doing a good job, WWE! There are plenty of monster heels already and I think Kozlov shouldn't get such a push. He was the weakest player in the Smackdown EC match.

I also can no longer take Randy Orton seriously after the McMahons inserted themselves into the feud. Shane is no god for goodness sake, so why the heck is he able to beat up Legacy members just like that? Ridiculous.

For now, the fact that Smackdown has most of the gold sets up an interesting Raw for tonight.

I refuse to have much comment on the ECW match because ECW just plain sucks. I feel really bad for Christian.

Does WWE refuse to push the wrestlers (excuse me, I mean superstars) that the crowd obviously likes and to bury the crappy ones? I watch Smackdown more often than the other shows, and right now I'm sick of: Kozlov, Kendrick,
and Divas. They suck!

Sick of the Over-Appreciative?

Today I was at Southland and I was playing on this 50-cent machine where you try to grab these tiny, cheap-looking plush keychains. I was trying to get the Barney one and instead picked up these Harley Davidson pig. My second attempt then led me to pick up this crappy-looking dog. I didn't want it so I left it at the machine. This small girl saw it and sounded like she just won the lottery when she picked that ugly thing up and spoke something in Spanish. I later left the pig hooked on the joystick of another claw machine. If I saw something this crappy I wouldn't bother picking it up. Wendy's trash is another person's treasure.

This incident reminded me of when my Bible small group teacher shared with us that this woman refused to teach Sunday School at CCS because the kids at CCS are not appreciative enough. Instead, she prefers teaching "special needs" kids because she can give them crappy five-for-a-dollar toys and they'd love it.

I don't really agree with this. First of all, why do you expect kids to like the garbage you give them? Shouldn't you want kids to desire a little more? Why be happy when kids settle for mediocre? Why the heck are you giving them cheap stuff? I feel bad for people who take the crap because they deserve better. When that little girl reacted so excitedly about finding a crappy toy, it's like seeing someone be excited about pennies found on the ground. The rusty ones. I kind of understand that poor people appreciate more, but then to delight in even getting crappy stuff for free (essentially USELESS crappy stuff) means you're desperate. You're admitting that you are in a bad condition and you're not striving to get to a better place.

Should I Start Adding Titles to My Entries?

UPDATE: I HATE THIS: "Thank you for applying to Cal Poly. We have received your application. No determination has been made at this time." Why did they respond to like EVERYONE ELSE ALREADY?!?

As I sit in my room alone, I can't help but to wonder about anything and everything. Am I really a Christian or have I really transitioned to agnostic all these years? Why do I not do the things that Christians do (read the Bible, go to church) yet when people ask me at school whether I'm a Christian or not, I'd give it a second thought before replying? Sometimes I'd say yes and that would be honest. Sometimes I'd honestly say no. How is that even possible? Why can't I just accept or deny Christianity once and for all? What is stopping me from making a clear-cut decision? Does that mean I still have the Holy Spirit giving me guilt? Or is it just my conscience and there is no Holy Spirit?

I'm going to the gym this weekend with my mom. Or that is at least what I am telling myself. I have gained a bit of weight since the last time I went to the gym and I've noticed my slower metabolism. If I go this weekend and realize that I can actually go regularly and still keep up with my school work, I'd go more often. Okay, that was pure baloney. I spend most of my time doing nothing, so of course I can balance things out! haha

It's so hard to type with gloves on. But strangely I do not type any more typos than without gloves. I'm just slower, which I don't mind at all. Sometimes I'd rush into typing stuff out and end up typing really stupid things that I'd go back later to fix.

As I have said before, the deplorable is going to happen to one of my front teeth on Saturday. I learned that word from Magician's Nephew. That book was BAD.

Random Stuff

I was going to reply to that meme where I'm write a certain number of things about myself, but I couldn't come up with anything to say. I ended up reading old xanga posts as a refresher course, and as a result I found a lot of funny things that I have since forgotten. As a treat, I'll put them up here instead of doing that meme thing. Note that these are all old!

When I was sitting on the bus today, I saw someone in the distance. I was like, "Why the hell is he looking up?" And then when we drove by him, I realized that he just had a receding hairline.
